Thanks for your interest in Episcopal Relief & Development.  My name is Rev. Cathy Halford.  Along with Rev. Linda Healy, we are deacons and co-Ministry Partners for Episcopal Relief & Development in the Diocese of Mississippi.  Our role is to promote the work of Episcopal Relief & Development around the world and also in the United States to people here in Mississippi and to encourage them to give generously so that this work can continue.  Mississippi has benefitted directly from funds distributed through Episcopal Relief & Development because of damage from tornadoes and hurricanes.   Just recently, a grant was given to help people during the Jackson water crisis for emergency utility bills and medication.   Episcopal Relief & Development supports recovery efforts in communities in the United States and around the world for three to five years.
