Bishop Brian Seage announced new changes in the current restrictions on in-person worship attendance.
Current worship protocol regarding masks, communion, and hand washing, and social distancing will remain in place, but attendance has been expanded.
The number of people allowed for in-person worship has been increased to no more than 50% of a church’s maximum capacity.
“I realize that for some this will be a great relief and for others it brings great anxiety,” Bishop Seage wrote to clergy on September first. “Please know that I remain available to help navigate challenges presented by your local circumstances.”
