I’m excited to announce that Mr. David Martin will join the Diocesan staff as Chief Financial Officer on February 1.
David, originally from Macon, graduated from Mississippi State University in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, and Chartered Financial Consultant®. In 1995, he obtained a Master of Science in financial services from the American College in Philadelphia. His professional career path includes accounting, estate planning, trust profession, and financial services.
Through his professional life, David has used his time and skills to help people with estate planning, charitable giving intentions, and investment management. Before moving to Jonesboro, AR in 2020, David, and his wife,Susan, lived in Jackson and attended St. James’.
Many of you may remember his efforts in the late 1990’s in assisting Diocese of Mississippi parishioners with estate planning and planned giving opportunities. I look forward to introducing David at Council this weekend in Natchez.
