The Rev. Paul Stephen’s, rector of All Saints’/Tupelo, plans a second work day to help victims of the tornados which struck the north Mississippi city in late April.
“While much progress is being made in Tupelo and the surrounding areas following the April 28th tornado, much remains to be done. To that end All Saints’ will again host a workday on Saturday, May 31,” said Stephens.
Plans are to gather at the church at 8:00 a.m. and then travel to different sites in the community to help with debris removal. Parishes and missions throughout the diocese are invited to attend.
Anyone wishing to help is asked to contact the All Saints’ church office at 662-842-4386 to notify the parish of your plans. Food and drinks will be provided for all volunteer workers.
